Honolulu Records is the most sincere and caring way we found to give a concrete life to our musical and artistic thoughts: a possible way out of the traditional labels' market and a solution to avoid wasting the creativity and the ideas of a community of musicians. Honolulu is an independent label for non-commercial (mainly) improvised art music. We are a collective of musicians with a deep love for research and experimentation. Our aim is to produce music that is a spontaneous and necessary expression of our time and to involve an audience as wide and as various as possible. We would like to help create connections between musicians, creative people, different artistic fields and to try spreading good music as much as we can

Honolulu Records provides assisted self-production and supports artists in releasing their music by lowering the printing costs and taking care as a collective of the bureaucratic and organisational aspects of the process.
